When Tide Fades Away is a short film directed by Yawen Zheng, created by a student filmmaker from University of the Arts London (UAL). I composed original music for the film, using sound to support its emotional atmosphere and visual storytelling.

The score was developed to complement the film’s pacing and narrative, enhancing key moments while creating a cohesive emotional connection between the music and imagery.
